It's important to have the final guitar from guitar rig recorded as audio, so that you can take care of delays and continue processing over it. You then select in reason this input and record this to a second channel so that you have the initial guitar and the processed guitar from guitar rig. Guitar rig will do it's thing, and outputs audio into reason again. The idea behind the loopback, is so that you output the gutiar channel from reason, into Guitar Rig.
If you are able to get both softwares working at the same time, with audio in and out, then you have to take care of the Audio Loopback. However, you need your audio card to be multi client, so that both software's work at the same time (in)putting and outputting audio. The idea is to route the channels where you have the guitar, to guitar rig, then have the sound of guitar rig into Reason as an input channel. It is possible, in some different ways, but mostly depending on your hardware-software configuration.
